With your support and the generous donations received during the 2007-08 campaign (Sept. 2007 through June 2008), together we raised $750,000 for our school district, which will be used during the upcoming 2008-09 school year!
The funds donated to our education foundation are going directly towards supporting the following personnel at Central, Sandpiper, Cipriani, Nesbit and Fox.
(All of these programs were originally slated for elimination due to the lack of State funding.)
- 4th & 5th grade Science Specialists
- Reading Specialists
- 4th & 5th grade Music Instructors
- Library Technicians
- Teacher aids
School-Force also makes a difference at Ralston, where we are funding the following programs:
- Part-time Dean of Students
- After School Sports Program
- Counseling Services
- Library Technicians
- Teacher aides
Additionally, the entire district will benefit from the retention of a Technology Coordinator and Writing and Math Teacher Trainers.
Maintaining these valuable programs would not have been possible without the
monetary support of families and community businesses dedicated to providing
educational excellence in the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District.
