Welcome to School-Force

School-Force is a volunteer-run non-profit 501c3 educational foundation committed to promoting educational excellence in the six schools of the Belmont Redwood Shores school distrct.  We work with parents, the community, and the district to raise funds to help bridge the gap between state funding and educational excellence.

On March 11th $870,000 was cut from the budget of the Belmont Redwood-Shores School District. These cuts mean that the school libraries will close and that our school playing fields will be returned to dirt.

Thanks to the generosity of many, we've been able to raise $700,000.00 this year and the District was able to re-institute some of the programs that had been cut.  For a list of what has been reinstated, and a partial list of what has not, click here to see a recent communication sent out by District Superintendent click here.
